This home and away first round match was played in less than ideal weather. In fact it was raining so hard play was suspended while a family of ducks swam past! 

Despite the conditions the home team, Alan Potts, Steve O'Brien & Tony Seago produced a convincing victory winning 18 - 8. All the team played their part but a special mention goes to Alan who played some outstanding shots that helped secure the win.

The away team, Laurence Kaizer, Colin Green & Alan Bayliss, won a close run contest that went to the wire with Hainault coming out on top with a 14 - 13 victory. 

On to greater success in the next round!
